Weekender Duffels

Smaller, smarter duffels for overnight and short trips, usually with a trolley sleeve, an end pocket and a padded shoulder strap. This is the format most often bought as a gift or a premium giveaway, so it is judged on how it looks as well as how it carries.

The thing that goes wrong here is not construction, it is sizing. Capacity is quoted in litres, and two bags at the same litres can be completely different objects: a long thin barrel and a short deep one hold the same amount and behave nothing alike. One slides into an overhead locker and one does not fit at all.
